Karen Kingsley
Karen is a graduate of Sutherland-Chan School & Teaching Clinic and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Prior to her training in massage therapy, she received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario. Karen also has a special interest in Women’s Health, specifically Breast Health and Breast Massage. She believes it to be an area which often gets overlooked and she ensures that her patients are provided with an open and comfortable environment to discuss their breast health. This can be anything from dealing with premenstrual breast pain, pregnancy & discomforts with breastfeeding, to patients who have had a lumpectomy/mastectomy/breast reconstruction due to a breast cancer diagnosis. As a breast cancer survivor herself, she has first hand knowledge of how breast massage can help in the recovery process after a mastectomy and/or breast reconstruction.
